This week our Confirmation Candidates will be learning from Decision Point Session 5: “The Bible”. The Bible is the guidebook for our lives and we should read it. The Bible is broken down by the testaments and chapters. While the Bible may be intimidating to read, Matthew Kelly outlines a plan to start reading the Bible by starting with Matthew’s Gospel, followed by Genesis and the Psalms. He suggests reading a chapter or for just a few minutes a day and not getting bogged down by things we do not understand. One could even pick out a phrase or 2 that connects with them to pray over. There is much to be gained by reading the Bible as it will bring us closer to God.

We would love for caregivers to watch the video segments with their Confirmation student and discuss the questions together.
